Detailing a 302 For The 68 Mustang

It has been a while since we worked on the 68 and this week we scored a nice running mildly built 302 to replace the granny 200.  Thanks to Matt Firestone at TheRoads2Ruin and the rest of the guys at New England Speed & Custom for hooking us up the this motor.  Engine detailing is one of our specialties.  Check out our Engine Detailing page for more info.

Here it is sitting on a pallet Tuesday morning looking all sad and nasty

We stripped it down and began the process of blasting and cleaning every part

A fresh set of gaskets, some stainless bolts, lots of paint and a few new parts really made this a pretty little small block Ford.  Here is sits just a few days later on Friday night.
